Let The Journey Begin

Leg one of the journey...the drive to Chapel Hill. Check. Thanks, Luck. Leg two starts tomorrow when I fly out of RDU at 7 am. Yes, a 7 am flight, I can thank my travel agent for that early morning. If all goes as planned I will be in Beijing Wednesday around 2:30 pm. Besides that there really is not too much to say right now. I have packed over 70 lbs of "stuff" for my 2 month stay. I am excited to live at Peking University, yet no matter how many times I try to find a picture of a room, I have found no success. If you are reading this right now, then you are probably aware of what I am doing this summer. If not, I am going to be interning for Jade Grey, an entrepreneur, who has started a number of businesses in China. I will also be taking a class through Peking University, as well as an entrepreneurship class through Carolina while in China, and what has been described to me as a "survival" course in Chinese language (I currently speak no Chinese). My hope is that I will be able to write on here at least every other day. Thanks to everyone who wished me good luck before I left. I will keep you posted on my travels.
